跳舞这一幕来源于德普和蒂姆伯顿开的玩笑。伯顿想在最后一幕让德普唱歌，德普则想让Tim跳舞。depp表示对完成福特韦根舞很头疼，于是Tim想到找舞者大卫·布尔诺教他。大卫的舞蹈动作以流动性出名，他的舞蹈视频在网上广为人知。于是depp就跟着大卫练舞拉，出师以后，难度太高实在完成不了的一小部分是由大卫完成的，再加上一些特技，嫁接起来，看上去天衣无缝。
不过，舞蹈大部分都由Depp完成的。Depp对工作很认真，即使自己未涉足过的领域都要亲力亲为，他为这段舞吃了不少苦头呢。还记得《理发师陶德》里的depp献唱吧？这是他闭关苦练3个月的结果！这就是我们一直那么爱他的原因之一。
